New DLA Aviation Commander Air Force Brig. Gen. Hurry holds first town hall

Richmond, Va. — Defense Logistics Agency Aviation Commander Air Force Brig. Gen. Linda Hurry shared her vision for the future of DLA Aviation at her first town hall June 29 on Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia.

DLA Aviation team visits Army National Guard in Mississippi

Richmond, Va. — Readiness Cell team members from the Army Customer Facing Division, Defense Logistics Agency Aviation planned for two months with the 1108th Theater Aviation Sustainment Maintenance Group Mississippi Army National Guard in Gulfport, Mississippi to arrange an outreach site visit June 26-27.

An American Story: Army Command Sgt. Major Charles Tobin

DLA's senior enlisted leader retires July 12 after a 33-year Army career. He has served as DLA’s senior enlisted leader since May 2015, the agency’s sixth SEL since the position was established. His rise to the top of the enlisted ranks is a uniquely American story.

FORT LEE, Virginia — Former Defense Logistics Agency Energy Middle East Commander retired Army Col. Greg Gibbons was inducted into the U.S. Army Quartermaster Hall of Fame at Fort Lee, Virginia, July 11.

Forging airpower at Metals Tech shop

CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, New Mexico — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the Cannon Air Force Base website — There’s a cacophony of noise emanating out of building 22 on base. Yokosuka distribution center celebrates LGBT month with lunchtime series, color run

YOKOSUKA, Japan — In recognition of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Month, DLA Distribution Yokosuka, Japan, hosted a multi-day lunchtime documentary series featuring a multitude of first-hand stories on how the month has changed and shaped lives.

The June workshop, first in a planned series, taught participants to use JAWS software to ensure web pages are accessible.
