The aerial port is a strategic logistics point to deliver passengers and cargo throughout the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility and its future was recently put in jeopardy due to a construction project timeline issue.

Headquarters employees reach great heights in fitness challenge

Twenty teams and 11 individuals tested their intestinal fortitude and structural integrity of the McNamara Headquarters staircases as they competed in the annual Climb Mount Everest challenge from Dec. 4, 2017, to Jan. 12, 2018. The event helps promote workforce resiliency, in line with the goals of the DLA People and Culture Plan.
