Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Expeditionary teams pull out of Hurricane Dorian Incident Staging Bases

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. — The Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Expeditionary team demobilizes at Maxwell Air Force Base Sept. 7. The 20-person DDXX teams have been at Maxwell and Fort Bragg ISBs supporting Hurricane Dorian recovery operations for the past week.

I am DLA Energy

PEARL HARBOR, Hawaii — I am Staff Sgt. Andrew Taylor. After serving on active duty for eight years as a 2F0X1 Fuels troop, I transitioned into the Air Force Reserves and elected to become an Individual Mobilized Augmentee. I am assigned to DLA Energy Hawaii on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam as a quality assurance representative responsible for validating proper procurement of Energy assets, which includes fuels of various grades, as well as cryogenic products like liquid oxygen and nitrogen.

Agency helps community prepare for the storm

Camp Lejeune, North Carolina — As Hurricane Dorian approached, police officers from South Carolina received excess military tents and other items to prepare for the worst with help from the Defense Logistics Agency.

DLA Troop Support provides 96,000 meals and 1,400 cases of bottled water to Hurricane Dorian relief efforts

PHILADELPHIA — As the threat of Hurricane Dorian became imminent, the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Subsistence supply chain ensured meals-ready-to-eat, bottled water and fresh fruits and vegetables were available to those directly impacted by the storm, starting August 29.
