DLA’s Digital-Business Transformation: Revolutionizing processes for the future

DLA is introducing a 'digital core' of information technologies to fortify its operational capabilities. This digital core will increase scalability, heighten collaboration, enhance security, and automate manual processes. It includes a single sign-on portal, simplifying access for DLA employees, alongside external portals for customers and suppliers engaged with the agency providing real-time access to engineering data and lead times, streamline ordering platforms with end-to-end order tracking, and improve supplier interactions.

Troop Support school supply drive sets students up for success

To ensure Philadelphia-area students start the school year with new pencils, calculators, backpacks and other items, Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support hosted the second annual Fill-A-Backpack drive. School supply items donated by employees from DLA Troop Support, DLA Information Operations, and DLA Contracting Services Office donated the school supply items that were delivered to the local charity Cradles to Crayons for distribution to area schools.
