Navy/DLA Service Integration Day address logistics challenges, share insights towards streamlined support

FORT BELVOIR, Va. — Today's Navy leadership face the daunting task of delivering readiness and setting the global posture to support naval combat power in a contested logistics environment. To facilitate a more streamlined supply chain in the face of pacing adversarial threats, the Defense Logistics Agency director hosted a one-day annual seminar where senior navy leaders and their DLA civilian counterparts could discuss current supply, equipment and training issues impacting the fleet.

About 30 personnel from the 405th Army Field Support Brigade, AFSBn-Manheim and 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, were tasked with accounting for, reporting, and preparing for shipment tens of thousands of repair parts, tools and supply items valued at nearly $20 million to Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany
