Georgia Guard Supports Partner Agencies Responding to Helene

Logistics in Action: Article originally appeared on the Official National Guard website — The Georgia Army National Guard, in response to Hurricane Helene, have mobilized to provide response and recovery support to Georgia state residents affected. Hurricane Helene has caused significant damage across the southeastern United States since its initial landfall. Since, FEMA has taken the lead in coordinating much needed Federal assistance for residents in significantly damaged areas and these weekend-warriors have been hard at work alongside civilian agencies across the United States, ensuring supplies get to where they are needed.
