Culture team meets during leadership summit

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services Culture Action Team met during the Annual Leadership Summit which took place Jan. 27 – 30, at the Hart-Dole-Inouye Federal Center in Battle Creek, Mich.

DLA support to USSOUTHCOM dates to the early 1960s, continues today

It may come as a surprise to learn DLA has a long history of supporting the warfighter in U.S. Southern Command. The agency doesn’t cover USSOUTHCOM with a regional command. Unlike Indo-Pacific or European commands, the area doesn’t host a peer competitor; unlike Central or Africa commands, it wasn’t a hot spot in the War on Terror. Nonetheless, military personnel have deployed to the theater throughout DLA’s 64 years.

PaCER Spotlight: Kaylee Mills

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Kaylee Mills is a current member of the Defense Logistics Agency Weapons Support (Columbus) Pathways to Career Excellence program. She began her PaCE journey in August 2024 and will graduate August 2026 as a pre-award contract specialist in the Strategic Acquisition Program Directorate.
