DSCR celebrates Hispanic American Heritage Month with energetic program

RICHMOND, Va — The Lotts Conference Center on Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia, recently came alive during a program Sept. 29 celebrating Hispanic American Heritage Month, which runs Sept. 15 through Oct. 15.

DSCR kicks off 2015 CFC campaign

RICHMOND, Va. — Defense Supply Center Richmond employees kicked off their annual Combined Federal Campaign Sept. 23 in the Frank B. Lotts Conference Center. The campaign runs through Dec. 15 and this year’s campaign theme is “Serving our Country, Supporting our Community.”

In celebration of the 68th Air Force Birthday, DLA Aviation Commander Brig. Gen. Allan Day and the most junior DLA Aviation Airman in attendance, Staff Sgt Jimmy Pauth, inventory management specialist, Customer Operations Directorate, cut the Air Force birthday cake during a celebration September 21, 2015 at Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia.

DSCR celebrates Air Force's 68th birthday

RICHMOND, Va. — On Sept. 21, the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation Air Force hosted the 68th Birthday celebration in the Frank B. Lotts Conference Center. The Employee Working Group who sponsors Warrior Wednesday, partnered with DLA Aviation Air Force team members to show continued support to our nation's warfighters and to build esprit de corps throughout the installation. In recognition and celebration of the event, employees wore Air Force blue that day.

Defense Logistics Agency Installation Support at Richmond, Virginia held a 9-11 Remembrance Ceremony on the lawn of the DLA Aviation Headquarters Building on Defense Supply Center Richmond Sept. 11, 2015. After the ceremony the four DLA police and firefighters who served on the honor guard during the event, reflect and pray in front of wreath that was placed at flagpole, paying homage to fallen police, firefighters and emergency police who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001.

Aviation team members share Filipino culture at NAS Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Florida — On July 22, employees at Defense Logistics Agency Aviation at Jacksonville, Florida participated in the Naval Air Station (NAS) Jacksonville's Multicultural Fun Day at the base's marina pavilion.

DLA Aviation achieves Better Buying Power goal

RICHMOND, Virginia — Defense Logistics Agency Aviation’s Strategic Acquisition Programs Directorate awarded a performance-based logistics contract to Boeing that provides a comprehensive framework to support most Boeing aviation platforms. PBL contracts are part of the Better Buying Power 3.0 initiative.
