CAPE CANAVERAL AIR FORCE STATION, Florida — Defense Logistics Agency Aerospace Energy personnel partnered with the Navy, Air Force and other organizations to provide the way for the 20-story tall Atlas V rocket launch at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida, June 24.

DLA Energy brings large-scale renewable energy solar project to Fort Detrick

FORT DETRICK, Maryland — Defense Logistics Agency Energy Deputy Commander George Atwood attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony with other senior officials for the large-scale renewable energy solar project at Fort Detrick, Maryland, June 17.

DLA Energy Americas assists in bringing fuel, clean water to QLLEX 2016

FORT A.P. Hill, Virginia — As Quartermaster Liquid Logistics Exercise 2016 approaches its end, the two-week training exercise has largely been a success.

Retail side of warfighter support is focus of DLA event

DLA’s Retail Operations Division, in coordination with DLA Land and Maritime, brought total focus to the retail side of DLA's warfighter support at the second Semi-Annual Total Retail Sustainment Review, May 24-25 at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, Maine.

ARDENT SENTRY is the annual major U.S. Northern Command exercise program. This year's exercise features a 9.0 earthquake occurring 60 miles off the Oregon coast creating a complete rupture of the Cascadia Subduction Zone and creating a Tsunami with wave heights 20 to 80 feet.

Simulated disasters rock western United States

FORT BELVOIR, Virginia — A simulated catastrophic earthquake and tsunami marked the beginning of Defense Logistics Agency Energy support to Exercise Ardent Sentry 16, a major U.S. Northern Command annual exercise focused on defense support of civil authorities.
