DLA Distribution supports Army LRC initiatives

FORT CARSON, Colo. — DLA Distribution is working with DLA HQ, Army G4, Army Materiel Command and Army Sustainment Command on a Proof of Principle to reduce customer wait time and on-hand inventory costs for Army Installation Supply Support Activities at Fort Carson, Colorado, and Fort Drum, New York.

DLA's senior leaders--including the director of the agency--recently participated in live training outlining how supervisors should respond to a report of sexual assault or sexual harassment in the workplace.

Defense Logistics Agency senior leaders participated in the agency’s first combined sexual assault and sexual harassment training July 27. The in-person training was the first to combine these similar but distinct annual training requirements for supervisors.

Army Col. Bob Wichman has been a chaplain for 25 years, meeting the spiritual needs of soldiers in battalions, brigades, hospitals and even a military prison. His diverse background has prepared him for his new role overseeing religious-supply support to all Department of Defense chaplains.

Perna led new approaches to warfighter support
