Wennblom takes command at DLA Distribution Anniston, Alabama

ANNISTON, Ala. — U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Martin E. Wennblom assumed command of Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Anniston, Alabama, in a June 5th ceremony. The ceremony was officiated by DLA Distribution Commanding General, Brig. Gen. John S. Laskodi.

The Defense Logistics Agency will induct five new honorees into its Hall of Fame this summer, representing the highest level of achievement across an array of DLA locations and leadership roles.

New campaign promotes employee safety as priority

On June 2, DLA will kick off its All-Season Safety Campaign to help employees recognize and anticipate seasonal safety and health risks through training, posters and social media messaging. The goal is to raise employee awareness of the importance of safety at work, at home and while traveling.

Sacrifices remembered at Memorial Day

TRACY, Calif. — As the sacrifices of nation’s war dead of past and present conflicts around the world were being honored on Memorial Day, the American military must continue to be ready to respond to a number of challenges in many parts of the world.

May Fitness Challenge tests employees’ rowing, running skills
