Susquehanna distribution center commander praises team’s hurricane response efforts

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. — Following nearly two months of facilitating the shipment of critical supplies ultimately distributed amongst those affected by Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria, DLA Distribution Susquehanna, Pennsylvania commander Army Col. Brad Eungard is praising the efforts of his team in meeting the mission while maintaining green metrics in its day to day support to the global warfighter.

DLA Distribution Albany ships over 80,000 meals to feed those affected by hurricanes

ALBANY, Ga. — Hurricane Harvey, a Category 4 major hurricane forming Aug. 17, and making landfall in Southern Texas on Aug. 25, was an extremely destructive Atlantic hurricane, becoming the first major hurricane to make landfall in the United States since Wilma in 2005, ending a record 12-year drought in which no hurricanes had made landfall at such an intensity in the country.
