DLA Joint Reserves leader brings closure to families of sailors killed at Pearl Harbor

The chief of staff for the Defense Logistics Agency Joint Reserve Force has volunteered to serve on two honor details this year, returning to family members the remains of newly identified sailors killed in World War II.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The DLA Distribution Corpus Christi, Texas team was named the Charlie Nye DLA Distribution Site of the Year for its across the board accomplishments and community spirit.

The Defense Logistics Agency is supporting firefighting efforts by providing equipment ranging from fire hoses and protective clothing to tools and batteries to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Wildland Fire Protection Program.
