DLA Distribution celebrates the Marines Corps 241st birthday

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pennsylvania — Defense Logistics Agency, Distribution employees and leadership gathered to wish a collective “Happy Birthday” to the U.S. Marines Corps Nov. 10, in honor of the service’s 241st birthday. November 10, 1775 was the day that the Continental Marines, later renamed the United States Marine Corps, was established and each year on November 10, the United States celebrates United States Marine Corp Day.

Laskodi makes inaugural visit to Pacific Command Area of Responsibility

Guam distribution center serves as logistics hub for Valiant Shield exercise

MARIANAS, Guam — In the sixth iteration of the biennial field training exercise Valiant Shield, Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Guam, Marianas once again became the primary logistics hub for all cargo marked for activities participating in the event, which focused on integrated joint training among U.S. forces.

Defense Distribution Center, Susquehanna car show supports Central PA CFC

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pennsylvania — Showing off the best cars and vehicle projects was the goal of this year’s Defense Distribution Center, Susquehanna Car Show on October 28, benefiting the Central Pennsylvania Combined Federal Campaign.

Since the official kick-off for the Combined Federal Campaign on Oct. 3, the Defense Logistics Agency has reached more than 30 percent of its fundraising goal of $315,000.
