Subsistence supports USS Indianapolis ahead of commissioning ceremony

PHILADELPHIA — When the USS Indianapolis commissioned Oct. 26 in Indiana, it was a first for the United States Navy and posed a unique challenge for the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Subsistence supply chain.

Subsistence, USDA partnership sets new high for schools receiving fresh produce

PHILADELPHIA — When the Department of Defense Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program started in 1995, school districts in only eight states signed on with the partnership effort. By the end of fiscal 2019, the DOD Fresh program has grown to include districts nationwide, reaching record numbers of participants at the start of this school year.

Troop Support Leadership Academy: build trust and strive for excellence

PHILADELPHIA — The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Leadership Academy, held Oct. 8-10, educated attendees on leadership topics ranging from Equal Employment Opportunity to human resources processes and ethics.
