DLA Land and Maritime’s Sexual Assault Prevention and Response office hosted an information fair during lunch in the Operation Center Café April 3. The fair provided information and resources available at DSCC and in the surrounding community for survivors of sexual assault and their advocates.

Emergency response terms explained

Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia, conducted a tornado response exercise March 19. During the exercise, the installation’s mass notification system disseminated the message that included the words “seek shelter.” Participants’ post-exercise comments indicated confusion with respect to the meaning of “seek shelter,” which is different from “shelter-in-place” or “lockdown.”

April is the designated Child Abuse Prevention Month and blue is the color associated with the cause.

Wolfe takes over Human Resources at Aviation

On a sunny, but cool late March afternoon, Theresa Wolfe’s face beamed as she basked in the warmth of the sun’s rays provided through the windows of her first floor office in the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation Operations Center on Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia. It was one of the rare moments of down time she’s been able to take since taking over as the head of Human resources for DLA Aviation less than two months ago.
