Located in Battle Creek, Michigan, the Defense Logistics Agency Customer Interaction Center (DLA CIC) is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including Government holidays. Federal Logistics Data on Mobile Media (FED LOG)
Federal Logistics Data on Mobile Media (FED LOG) is a CD-ROM or DVD tool to retrieve management, part/reference number, supplier, Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE), freight, Interchangeability and Substitutability (I and S) and characteristics information recorded against National Stock Numbers (NSN). Federal Mall (FedMall)
Are you interested in selling goods or services to the DOD and federal government and not sure where to start? We’re here to help you discover a resource available to aid you in this endeavor. FedMall allows authorized vendors to upload goods and services, customers are able to procure goods and services, research stock-out-reports, track requisitions, learn the health of a NSN and more. FedMall is a premiere e-Commerce allowing access to commercial marketplace, government services from the warfighter to Federal, state and local agencies. Interactive Government & Industry Data Edit & Review (iGIRDER)
The Government & Industry Data Edit & Review (GIRDER) program allows industry to purify their data housed in the Federal Cataloging System. GIRDER has facilitated over four million corrections to reference numbers. iGIRDER is the mechanism for industry to review their reference numbers and propose changes to obsolete, incomplete and inaccurate data using the World Wide Web. International Self Help Tools
The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Codification provides accurate information as to the identity of a unique item of supply and issued by the NATO Codification Bureau (NCB).  The data is collected and stored in national databases. The multilingual NATO Master Catalogue of References for Logistics (NMCRL) exits as a real time database for international customers to use to access the material catalogue along with other self help tools.  This brochure is also available in a text only version.

Logistics Information Services
As a business service activity of the Defense Logistics Agency, Logistics Information Services mission is to enhance global defense readiness through logistics information. Logistics Information Services accomplishes its mission by optimizing the effectiveness and efficiency of the Department of Defense (DOD) supply chain. We provide interoperable, integrated logistics data and enterprise IT solutions for the Military Services, DOD, Federal agencies and international partners. National Stock Number (NSN)
A National Stock Number (NSN) is applied to an item of supply that is repetitively procured, stocked, stored, and used throughout the Federal Supply System. When a NSN is assigned to an item of supply, data is assembled to describe the item. This brochure is also available in a text only version.

National Stock Number (NSN) Booklet

A National Stock Number (NSN) is simply the official label applied to an item of supply that is repeatedly procured, stocked, stored, issued, and used throughout the federal supply system. It is a unique item identifying series of numbers. When a NSN is assigned to an item of supply, data is assembled to describe the item. Some data elements include information such as an item name, manufacturer's part number, unit price, and physical and performance characteristics. NSNs are an essential part of the military's logistics supply chain used in managing, moving, storing, and disposing of material.  This brochure is also available in a text only version.

National Stock Number (NSN) Self-Help Tools
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) provides many self-help tools accessible 24 hours a day. A side-by-side comparison allows customers to retrieve and view specific codification data represented by a permanent National Stock Number (NSN) from the Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS). Authorized users will enjoy the new benefits and features of WebFLIS, FED LOG and PUB LOG while the general public are invited to visit our e-reading room for Public Logistics (PUB LOG) FLIS Search tool. North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Codification System (NCS)
The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Codi¬cation System (NCS) is a reliable International Codification System to support Modern logistics and is governed by the NATO Allied Committee 135 (AC/135).  It is composed of representatives from each NATO and partner nation along with the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA), which is NATO's principal logistics support management agency. This brochure is also available in a text only version.

 Public Logistics Data on Mobile Media (PUB LOG)
Public Logistics Data on Mobile Media (PUB LOG) is a Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Logistics Information Services product intended for use by public entities requiring National Stock Number (NSN) information and other cataloging information including Federal Supply Classification (FSC) data and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) codes. It is an interactive product available on DVD which is updated monthly and available through a subscription process.  This brochure is also available in a text only version. 

Public Logistics Federal Logistics Information System (PUB LOG FLIS) Search
Public entities are able to view, at no cost, National Stock Number (NSN) and reference numbers (CAGE and Part Number)
using PUB LOG FLIS Search downloadable product. Screening data allows vendors and industry the ability to view cataloging
data associated with the NSN such as market research, procurable coding, characteristic data and more.

Small Business
Are you a Small Business interested in doing business with the Defense Logistics Agency?  The DLA Office of Small Business Programs provides training, advice, guidance and strategies to maximize opportunities for small businesses to participate in DLA's acquisition program, both as prime contractors and subcontractors. Through this office, DLA administers the Department of Defense Procurement Technical Assistance Program. 

Support to the Whole of Government
DLA’s global network and expertise in supply chain management can help improve efficiency and increase effectiveness of our Whole of Government partners.   Working alongside these Whole of Government partners in domestic and international operations, DOD and DLA strengthen their ability to serve national interests.  This brochure is also available in a text only version.

Training
Logistics Information Services offers training on a variety of DLA Managed products and services such as FED LOG, WebFLIS, DOD EMALL, and DLA Map Catalog to name a few. Training is offered in several formats such as classroom instruction as well as Computer Based Training (CBT) on CD-ROM, Web Based Training (WBT), Video-Tele-Conference (VTC) and Webinar. Federal Logistics Information System Web Query (WebFLIS)
The Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS) forms the foundation for all logistics information systems. It is the catalog of more than sixteen million Supply Items used by the U.S. Government (USG) and NATO allies.  FLIS provides essential information about the Item of Supply, such as the National Stock Number (NSN), Item Name, CAGE and Part Numbers, Registered Users, as well as the Acquisition Advice Code, Unit Price, Unit of Issue, Source of Supply, Freight Data, Hazardous Materiel Indicators, Interchangeable and Substitutable information, and Physical and Performance Characteristics.  FLIS also provides the most complete information on contractors doing business with the USG.
