McNamara HQC promotes Family Day fun and safety

Thousands of employees and guests of all ages participated in the McNamara Headquarters Complex Family Day event June 28. This year’s theme was “Stars, Stripes and Safety.”

Sliman assumes command of DLA Distribution Europe

GERMERSHEIM, Germany — United States Army Col. Zorn T. Sliman assumed command of DLA Distribution Europe in Germersheim, Germany in a June 29 ceremony officiated by DLA Distribution commander Army Brig. Gen. John S. Laskodi.

Matthew Eckenrode, an IH contract specialist, lifts weights during one of his daily sessions at NSA-Philadelphia gym June 23. Eckenrode says by working out daily and maintaining a consistent, healthy diet he has been able to lose 40 pounds and complete numerous races, including the Broad Street Run.

DLA Energy brings large-scale renewable energy solar project to Fort Detrick

FORT DETRICK, Maryland — Defense Logistics Agency Energy Deputy Commander George Atwood attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony with other senior officials for the large-scale renewable energy solar project at Fort Detrick, Maryland, June 17.

Defense Logistics Agency Aviation employee, Onethia Maxwell is a command support analyst. She has been with DLA Aviation in Richmond, Virginia, for two months.
