Distribution Staff Sergeant named Carlisle Barracks NCO of the Year

CARLISLE BARRACKS, Pa. — Army Staff Sgt. Brittany M. Sheehan, operations noncommissioned officer, Aerial Delivery Textile Division, DLA Distribution Susquehanna, Pennsylvania, is the 2018 United States Army War College Non Commissioned Officer of the Year.

The results of the Defense Logistics Agency 2018 Denison Culture Climate Survey are in, and the findings illustrate noticeable progress. While DLA received its highest ever Enterprise-wide score of 66 with improvements in all 12 indices, DLA Energy-specific results showed an even bigger improvement with an average index score of 83, up 22 points since the last time the survey was conducted in 2016.

Family Advocacy and MWR Susquehanna bring awareness to Domestic Violence with Run/Walk event

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. — October is Domestic Violence Awareness month. The Family Advocacy Program and the MWR Susquehanna Sports and Fitness Department helped raise awareness of domestic violence by hosting a 5K Fun Run/1-Mile Walk here Oct. 17, at the Fitness Center.

MHE Rodeo crowns best operator

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — The inaugural DLA Disposition Services MHE Rodeo pitted 13 of the agency's best forklift drivers in a head-to-head, eight event battle for supremacy Oct. 23-25.

DLA Troop Support Subsistence supply chain director promoted to colonel

PHILADELPHIA — The Army’s newest colonel is Abel Young. The director of DLA Troop Support’s Subsistence supply chain was promoted in front of family and friends in Philadelphia Oct. 25.
