Army Medical Logistics Command supports rapid deployment exercise in Korea

FORT BARFOOT, Va. — Logistics in Action: Article originally appeared on the Virginia National Guard website — After years of planning, the U.S. Forces Command added two rail tank cars to their Petroleum Operations Sustainment Training program, or POST, in support of the Fort Gregg-Adams-based 94th Training Division to enhance bulk fuel supply training efforts Aug. 23, 2024, at Fort Barfoot, Virginia. 

The 138th Fighter Wing marked a significant milestone in its operational capabilities with the official opening of a new fuel complex and commercial inspection facility. , Aug. 13, 2024, at Tulsa Air National Guard Base, Okla. A ribbon-cutting ceremony commemorated the completion of this critical infrastructure project, underscoring the Wing’s commitment to mission readiness and support. Air National Guardsmen Participate in Mobilization Training

Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the Air National Guard website — As part of a pre-deployment exercise Aug. 12-18 The 102nd Logistics Readiness Squadron and 212th Engineering and Installation Squadron packaged and prepared equipment for military airlift recently. This exercise tested the Airmen’s capability to get materials and troops out the door if they are called to deploy or respond to an emergency at a moment’s notice.

USAF, RAAF demonstrate interoperability in austere location

NORTHERN TERRITORY, Australia — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the U.S. Pacific Air Force website — U.S. Air Force F-22A Raptors assigned to the 27th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron conducted hot pit refuels alongside Royal Australian Air Force F-35A Lightning IIs assigned to the 75th Squadron at RAAF Base Curtin, Australia.

Navy Demonstrates ‘Game-Changing’ System to Rearm Warships at Sea

PORT HUENEME, Calif. — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) website — Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD) successfully conducted the first land-based demonstration of the Transferrable Rearming Mechanism (TRAM). U.S. Navy surface combatants will now be able to reload missile canisters into their MK 41 Vertical Launching Systems (VLS) while at sea and in an unheard-of pace with revolutionary strategic potential.
