Total Force Airmen maximize refueling capacity in Europe

RAF MILDENHALL, England — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the 507th Air Refueling Wing website — In a long-standing total force partnership between Air Force Reserve Command and U.S. Air Forces in Europe, members of the 507th Air Refueling Wing are augmenting the 100th Air Refueling Wing here to provide KC-135R Stratotanker air refueling support to the European theater of operations, July 1-29.

Soldiers with the 947th Quartermaster Company, Chambersburg, PA, receive a fuel truck at a fuel system supply point July 19, 2017, at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., during a Quartermaster Liquid Logistic Exercise. The exercise tested the Soldiers capability to safely and efficiently receive incoming fuel trucks and download thousands of gallons fuel. Once the fuel was received, the Soldiers cleaned and recirculated it before refilling trucks awaiting resupply.

Two Mather Soil Vapor Extraction units achieve cleanup goals

564th AMXS Kitting Office is big business

TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the Tinker Air Force Base website — With 150 personnel, six different shops, and the motto “You get it to the door, we’ll get it to the floor”, the 564th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron’s Kitting Office is big business.

Marines attached to 3rd Transportation Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistic Group, move a hose reel system during Operation Pacific Reach Exercise 2017 (OPRex17). OPRex17 is a bilateral training event designed to ensure readiness and sustain the ROK-U.S. Alliance by exercising an Area Distribution Center (ADC), an Air Terminal Supply Point (ATSP), Combined Joint Logistics Over-the-Shore (CJLOTS), and the use of rail, inland waterways, and coastal lift operations to validate the operational reach concept.
