CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, New Mexico — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the Cannon Air Force Base website — There’s a cacophony of noise emanating out of building 22 on base. Mallets striking bolts, grinding metal, sparks peppering the floor, the hiss of air compressors. The shop is bustling with work.

643rd 'Wolfpack' Engineers Go to the Range but Build Instead of Shoot

CAMP HUMPHREYS, South Korea — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the U.S. Pacific Command website — Nearly every unit in Korea spends time at the Multi-purpose Range Complex. While for most units that time means qualifying on their weapons, for the Vertical Platoon of the 643rd Engineer Support Company their two weeks at the range meant construction.

Pacific Air Force Consolidates Silver Flag Training at Andersen

KUNSAN AIR BASE — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the U.S. Pacific Command website — U.S. Air Force Airmen of the 554th Red Horse Squadron assigned to Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, trained members of the 8th Civil Engineering Squadron on airfield damage repair and force bed down June 19-23, 2017, as part of Exercise Silver Flag at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea.

According to Lawrence, because the construction phase of the project is scheduled to be completed by January 2019, it allows Fort Riley to meet federal mandates for a 25 percent reduction from 2015 energy consumption levels — six years ahead of schedule.

U.S. and Iraqi Air Forces work together to recover, put pallets back into DOD system
