Printing the future: MWSS-372 successfully tests 3-D printing in a field environment

Embracing Commandant of the Marine Corps Gen. Robert Neller’s recent push for Marines to innovate, MWSS-372 is one of the first units to experiment with 3-D printing.

KC-135 Block 45 Program Acquisition Innovation saves millions

TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the Tinker Air Force Base website — The KC-135 Block 45 program, a nomenclature for Communication, Navigation, Surveillance/Air Traffic Management is an avionics upgrade that has recently achieved tremendous success. The KC-135 program office crafted a contracting model to bolster small business participation for parts kits, which resulted in significant savings to the government.

Soldiers, Airmen return from Haiti relief mission

The Soldiers spent about two weeks supporting disaster relief and humanitarian assistance efforts as a result of Hurricane Matthew.

Aircraft Parts Store feeds the fight in OIR

It’s the job of one shop, in coordination with aircraft maintainers, to try and prevent this from happening.
