Distribution headquarters celebrates Air Force birthday

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pennsylvania — DLA Distribution headquarters employees gathered to celebrate the 69th birthday of the U.S. Air Force and to recognize two of DLA Distribution's Air Force Reserve employees Sept. 16.

Air Force Master Sgt. Antoinette Jones was named the Defense Logistics Agency Senior Noncommissioned Officer of the Year and is now in competition for the Office of the Secretary of Defense award.

Troop Support airman competes for DOD Senior NCO of the Year

March 14, 2016 — An airman with Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support who was selected as the DLA Senior Noncommissioned Officer of the Year for fiscal 2015 represented the agency in the Department of Defense competition.

Defense Logistics Agency Distribution employee Eugene Summers and DLA Joint Contingency Acquisition Support Office employee Craig Hill conduct a site assessment with exercise players and representatives from the Fort Eustis, Virginia, 689th Transportation Detachment during the “Turbo Distribution” exercise in Gulfport, Mississippi, Oct. 23-30.

Crisis exercise tests DLA, Air Force employees in rapid deployment

Fort Belvoir, Virginia — Defense Logistics Agency employees joined personnel from the Air Force and U.S. Transportation Command to test their rapid-deployment skills, as well as the system used to deploy logistics personnel to crises around the world, during the “Turbo Distribution” exercise in late October.

Distribution’s Stoff retires after 24 years in the U.S. Air Force

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pennsylvania — On Thursday, Oct. 8, surrounded by friends, coworkers and Defense Logistics Agency Distribution leadership, Air Force Col. Karen D. Stoff, retired after 24 years of active duty with the U.S. Air Force.
