144th FW continues fuel storage construction project

This $20 million project will remove the underground fuel storage system and replace them with above-ground storage containers.

Chemist, quality expert inducted into DLA Energy Hall of Fame

Lee Barry Oppenheim was inducted into the DLA Energy Hall of Fame on March 22. He retired from DLA Energy in 2018 as the Quality Technical deputy director with a distinguished 42-year federal career – all of which was spent with DLA.

Texas legislature recognizes DLA Energy employee

Recognizing his “remarkable dedication and skill,” the State of Texas House of Representatives adopted Resolution No. 140 to “commend Staff Sergeant Calvin Williams for his service during Hurricane Ida and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success in his important work.” During a Nov. 2 ceremony in Sugar Land, Texas, District 26 State Representative Jacey Jetton personally presented Williams the resolution, thanking him for his service and support.
