Susquehanna commander visits Troop Support headquarters

PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania — To discuss how to improve vendor compliance within each of the supply chains DLA Troop Support manages, DLA Distribution Susquehanna, Pa., commander Army Col. Brad Eungard visited the Primary-Level Field Activity’s headquarters in Philadelphia, Pa., in late September.

DLA Distribution opens operation in Djibouti

Tutors, forward-deployed reps recognized at awards ceremony

PHILADELPHIA — More than 40 Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support employees were honored for exceptional service during a Quarterly Awards ceremony Sept. 28.

September is recognized as National Preparedness Month which serves as a reminder that we all must take action to prepare, now and throughout the year, for the types of emergencies that could affect us where we live, work, and also where we visit. This year’s theme is once again “Don’t wait, Communicate. Make Your Emergency Plan Today.”

Commander’s Cup winners announced following final event in series

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pennsylvania — New Cumberland Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation officially closed out its sixth annual Commander’s Cup, which ran from May 20 through September 23, with a 10k race.

Norfolk distribution center supports annual “Run with the Chiefs” event

NORFOLK, Virginia — Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Norfolk, Va., recently opened its streets to support Naval Station Norfolk’s “Run with the Chiefs” event. This year’s 5k run had more than 1,000 participants, and was a celebration of past and present chief petty officers and selectees.
