This year, the annual wildfire season has been less active, with about 28 percent fewer acres of land burning during the season than the 10-year average, according to the National Interagency Fire Center. Despite this decrease in fire activity, the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Construction and Equipment supply chain remains ready in case disaster strikes.

Army recruits receive American-made athletic footwear at basic training for first time

PHILADEPHIA — Approximately 134 Army recruits received American-made athletic footwear at Ft. Benning, Georgia Oct. 1, thanks to Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support. Recruits at Ft.
