DLA Director visits DLA Distribution San Diego during west coast trip

SAN DIEGO, California — Defense Logistics Agency Director Air Force Lt. Gen. Andy Busch visited DLA Distribution San Diego, Calif., facilities on September 9 during a weeklong trip to the region.

Army’s 6th Medical Logistics Management Center visit DLA Distribution

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pennsylvania — To discuss synchronizing medical logistics through planning, supply chain integration, and requirements development, the Army’s 6th Medical Logistics Management Center visited Defense Logistics Agency Distribution on Aug. 28.

Army Maj. Gen. Gwendolyn Bingham, commander of TACOM Life Cycle Management Command, visited DLA Distribution August 13.

DLA Distribution hosts U.S. Army TACOM Life Cycle Management Commander

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pennsylvania — To discuss the current and future relationship between Defense Logistics Agency Distribution and the U.S. Army TACOM Life Cycle Management Command, DLA Distribution hosted Army Maj. Gen. Gwendolyn Bingham, commander of TACOM Life Cycle Management Command, August 13.

Transcom conducts the annual exercise to assess Joint Task Force-Port Opening aerial port and distribution operations. The scenario is focused on humanitarian and disaster relief operations in a third world country. This is the first time a Defense Logistics Agency support team participated and the team deployed with the first wave of JTF-PO forces.

LAKEHURST, New Jersey — Recently, a team from Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Headquarters traveled to Lakehurst, N.J., to participate in the U.S. Transportation Command’s assessment of Joint Task Force Port Opening airport and distribution operations.

NORAD director of logistics and engineering discusses future expeditionary support with DLA Distribution

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pennsylvania — To discuss the current and future relationship between DLA Distribution and United States Northern Command, DLA Distribution hosted Air Force Brig. Gen. Stan Sheley, director of Logistics and Engineering, North American Aerospace Defense Command and NORTHCOM, July 21.

Attendees of the 21st annual Senior Executive Partnership Roundtable listen to a presentation May 6 in Richmond, Virginia. The event brought DLA Aviation leaders together with industry partners to discuss the way ahead for Better Buying Power and commercial pricing initiatives.
