Ability One Customer Appreciation Day

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Land and Maritime associates recognized at Federal Executive Association’s annual awards luncheon.

In 1984, President Ronald Reagan signed the first proclamation officially recognizing Military Spouse Appreciation Day. The Department of Defense then standardized the date by declaring the Friday before Mother's Day every year as Military Spouse Appreciation Day. In 1999, Congress officially made Military Spouse Appreciation Day a part of National Military Appreciation Month.

Denim Day at DSCC

COLUMBUS, Ohio — DSCC workforce is Going the Distance on Denim Day to raise awareness against Sexual Assault. DLA is helping to spread the word across the DLA enterprise about the SAPR program and resources, but most important, participation in this month's events such as Denim Day and Teal Tuesdays show support for survivors during Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month.

Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) supports Warfighter strength and readiness by offering services that reduce stress, build skills and increase self confidence for warfighters, civilian support, and their families.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — As a result of staff shortages due to the federal hiring freeze, the following MWR programs will have adjusted hours of operation starting May 1, 2017 and extending tentatively through Oct 1, 2017. Our programs will return to normal business hours when staffing levels allow.
