DLA Distribution Europe named recipient of Patricia A. Kuntz DLA Distribution Center of the Year award

GERMERSHEIM, Germany — Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Europe has been awarded the Global Distribution Excellence: Patricia A. Kuntz DLA Distribution Center of the Year award in the “Small” category for its support to all four service components throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Patrick Troutner, distribution process worker at Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Cherry Point, N.C., has been named one of DLA Distribution’s Employees of the Quarter for third quarter, fiscal year 2015.

Cherry Point’s Troutner named DLA Distribution Employee of the Quarter

CHERRY POINT, North Carolina — Patrick Troutner, distribution process worker at Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Cherry Point, N.C., has been named one of DLA Distribution’s Employees of the Quarter for third quarter, fiscal year 2015.

Aviation team members share Filipino culture at NAS Jacksonville

Sigonella’s Rapisarda wins Edward Sweger DLA Distribution Systems Innovation/Automation award

SIGONELLA, Italy — Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Sigonella, Italy’s Carmelo Rapisarda has been awarded the Global Distribution Excellence: Edward Sweger DLA Distribution Systems Innovation/Automation award for his outstanding Distribution Standard System support.

The Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Korea Continuous Process Improvement Team has been awarded the Global Distribution Excellence Award for DLA Distribution Team of the Year. The team mates and award recipients are Chong Kyu Hwang, Min Chong Yi and Hyon Yong O.

DLA Distribution Korea’s Continuous Process Improvement Team receives Global Distribution Excellence Award: Team Performance of the Year Award

CAMP CARROLL, Korea — The Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Korea Continuous Process Improvement Team has been awarded the Global Distribution Excellence Award for DLA Distribution Team of the Year.

DLA coordinates Naval Academy donation of sailing dinghy fleet

Annapolis, Maryland — The U.S. Naval Academy, founded in 1845 along the Chesapeake Bay in Annapolis, Maryland, teaches its students to turn chaos into order upon the waters.

Historical DLA Energy photos added to DLA archives

FORT BELVOIR, Virginia — Defense Logistics Agency historians received more than 6,000 historic photographs, negatives and 10 video tapes to add to the DLA history program during renovations to the DLA Energy Kunkel Conference Room.

Defense Distribution Center, Susquehanna was selected as one of five military bases to be awarded the Commander in Chief's Annual Award for Installation Excellence, the highest award for excellence among installations.

Distribution HQ’s Wright wins Global Distribution Excellence: Administrative Support Performance of the Year Award

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pennsylvania — Melissa Wright, command support specialist at Defense Logistics Agency Distribution headquarters in New Cumberland, Pa., has been awarded the Global Distribution Excellence: Administrative Support Performance of the Year award for her administrative guidance and assistance to DLA Distribution headquarters staff, commanders, deputies and administrative personnel throughout DLA Distribution’s network of 24 distribution centers and detachments.
