Susquehanna’s first female senior enlisted leader departs as first Marine comes onboard

The April 5 Change of Responsibility ceremony between Army 1st Sgt. Janine Burr and Marine Master Sgt. Bryan Alberts was historic for two reasons: the DLA Distribution Susquehanna, Pennsylvania, community was bidding farewell to the organization’s first female senior enlisted advisor as it welcomed its first Marine to serve the position.

Distribution’s Expeditionary Team supports Operation Pacific Reach

DLA Distribution’s 25th distribution center, the Expeditionary Team is currently deployed in support of Operation Pacific Reach, which is an exercise conducted every other year. This year’s exercise is being held from April 10 through April 21 at Dogu Beach in Pohang, South Korea. The Expeditionary Team consists of 19 total personnel, 17 civilians and two military.
