USAF begins new Egyptian F110 upgrade program

A big step forward to modernize the Egyptian Air Force F-16 “Fighting Falcon” fleet will take place July 25th in San Antonio, Texas. United States Air Force contracting, through Defense Logistics Agency-Aviation’s Strategic Acquisition Program, has awarded an Egyptian long-term F110 propulsion sustainment contract to GE Aviation. The ceremony will recognize the enterprise collaboration with a focus on Egyptian F-16 mission readiness.
