KALLAX AIR BASE, SWEDEN — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the National Guard website — After years of perfecting how to operate in overseas desert environments, the Swamp Foxes from the South Carolina Air National Guard flipped the script by deploying to northern Sweden for Arctic Challenge Exercise 19. Unpredictable weather, the remote location and unexpected major maintenance difficulties provided Swamp Fox maintainers plenty of problems to work through during their three-week TDY in support of the Nordic exercise.

The event held over two-days, May 29 – 30, invites industry business leaders and representatives to collaborate with DLA representatives on meeting warfighter needs.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The environment is a focus for many June observances such as World Environment Day, Nature Photography Day and National Pollinator Week. Environment conservation is an ongoing effort at the Defense Supply Center Columbus.

Troop Support, federal partners prepare for hurricane season

PHILADELPHIA — The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support held a two-day tabletop exercise to prepare for the 2019 hurricane season May 28-29.
