Susquehanna’s Child Development Center celebrates military children

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. — The Defense Distribution Center, Susquehanna Child and Youth Program hosted a special Month of the Military Child performance and parade April 3 on the New Cumberland installation.

Because the F-35A kit is smaller and shaped differently than the ACES II kit, trying to fit the same cold weather components has been an opportunity to innovate for Eielson’s AFE Airmen.

Richmond, Va. — The Frank B. Lotts Conference Center on Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia, was the site of the future in progress on April 25, when over 180 students engaged in activities and demonstrations as part of “Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day.”

Troop Support retirees honored for nearly 100 years of combined service

PHILADELPHIA — Three employees serving over a century of cumulative years of federal service were honored by the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support at a retirement ceremony April 25 in Philadelphia. DLA Troop Support Deputy Commander Richard Ellis presided over the ceremony and thanked the employees, Industrial Hardware quality assurance specialist Michael Newell, Construction and Equipment Miscellaneous Equipment Division Chief Susan Paul and C&E Move and Store Division Chief Susanne McHale, for their contributions to the agency.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Children from the Child Development Center marched in a parade with blue pinwheels on the Defense Supply Center Columbus April 23. The blue pinwheel and blue awareness ribbon are the official symbols of Child Abuse Awareness Month.
