DLA Aviation employees recognized for outstanding warfighter support in August

Richard Armstrong and Tyrone Paige were selected as Defense Logistics Agency Aviation’s Employees of the Month for August. Armstrong won in the general schedule (GS) 10-13 category. Paige took the award in the GS 1-9 category.

This year’s Veterans Day Program is virtual and features keynote speaker Zaneta Adams, director of Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency. Both a veteran and military spouse, Adams has dedicated her work to assisting Michigan’s 567,000 veterans.

From across the globe, more than 615 DLA Energy employees participated in a virtual All Hands held from the Fort Belvoir McNamara Headquarters Complex auditorium Nov. 2. The workforce was updated on the DLA Energy 2021 Culture Action Plan, recent employee awards and recognition, and the COVID-19 vaccination documentation system.
