Creating items in three dimensions instead of two is sometimes compared to creating a sculpture instead of a portrait. Even though we live in a 3D world, engineers were limited for many years to 2D drawings/sketches to communicate thoughts and ideas. Today with technological advances in additive manufacturing methods and other technologies, engineers can go directly from a 3D idea to a 3D object.

Air Logistics Complex commander thanks DLA for contributions to Air Force award

“The Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex wouldn't have been successful without your teamwork and your willingness to fight by our sides.” Those are sentiments expressed by United States Air Force Brig. Gen. Walter Lindsley, WR-ALC commander, to all Defense Logistics Agency tenants co-located with the WR-ALC at Robins Air Force Base. The WR-ALC was named Category 4 Depot winner of the Air Force Materiel Command’s 2015 Maintenance Effectiveness Award.
