Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS) and Hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) Reserve
Supporting the Military while Protecting the Ozone Layer
The ODS & HFC Reserve at DLA Aviation is DoD's central manager for mission-critical ODS for all of the military services, including the U.S. Coast Guard. The ODS & HFC Reserve is also the collection point for specific Military Critical Military End Use (MCMEU) HFC. The ODS & HFC Reserve does not issue HFCs: they are still requisitioned through the Industrial Gas Program.
In addition to the Reserve at Richmond, Virginia, there are overseas collection points at DLA distribution depots in Hawaii and Japan.
