Course Description:
The Logistics Information Operation Course (LIOC) examines research techniques and procedural information related to supply cataloging functions. Topics include item entry control, cataloging maintenance, Interchangeability and Substitutability (I&S), and life-cycle information on National Stock Numbers (NSN).

While this course is primarily lecture based, students are involved in discussion and review throughout each module. Students participate in multiple group exercises and present their answers and solutions to the group.

This course may be tailored to meet the particular needs of the students’ organizations.

Target Audience:
The target audience for this course is cataloging logisticians who have direct interaction with the Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS).

Prerequisites:
Introduction to Logistics Information (ILI) Web Based Training (WBT)/Computer-Based Training (CBT)
Logistics Information Fundamentals Course (LIFC)
