Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Orders

General Information:
Federal Mall (FedMall) is a web based online ordering platform meant to provide a full service e-Commerce site to find and acquire off the shelf, finished goods and services from the commercial marketplace and government sources for the Defense Department and other State and Federal agencies. FedMall optimizes the effectiveness and efficiency of the Department of Defense (DOD) Supply Chain.

Course Description:
Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Orders provides National Stock Number (NSN) information and requisition status for DLA-sourced items. Students will conduct queries using NSNs, National Item Identification Numbers (NIIN), Department of Defense Activity Address Codes (DODAAC), and Requisition (Document) Numbers for unfilled orders. The course will also cover stock-on-hand with storage locations, Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS) data, shipping status of requisitioned items, quantities on contract with estimated delivery dates, and weapon system supportability analysis/stock out reports. Customer support function on conditions for submission of Supply Assistance Requests (SAR) will be covered in detail. Instruction is in a computer classroom setting with live, web-based training and student exercises. Students are encouraged to establish a FedMall account prior to class. A Certificate of Training is issued at conclusion.

DLA, military services, Other Government Agencies, and United States (U.S.) Government sponsored contractors doing business with the U.S. Government.
