Course Description:
Course delivers a thorough study of the coding/data contained in the Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS) Total Item Record (TIR) and continues the discussion of the role of Cataloging in the Provisioning process. Attendees will use a drawing to build a complete TIR in the creation of a National Stock Number (NSN).

Upon completion, attendees will possess a general understanding of the provisioning process and a basic familiarity with the fundamental principles of the TIR in the FLIS.
