Reventlow returns to DLA Distribution as Commanding General

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. — In a virtual ceremony signifying a change of leadership at Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Headquarters in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, DLA Distribution Acting Director, Perry L. Knight, passed the helm to Marine Corps Brig. Gen. Keith D. Reventlow, July 21. Acting DLA Director, Michael D. Scott, Senior Executive Service, presided over the ceremony via video teleconference from DLA Headquarters in Ft. Belvoir, Virginia.

DLA Troop Support welcomes new Aide de Camp

PHILADELPHIA — The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Command welcomed Army 1st Lt. Brett Harris as the Aide de Camp on July 13. Harris replaces Navy Lt. Junior Grade Kevin Marvel in the role directly supporting to the commander.

NORFOLK, Va. — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Defense Logistics Agency are teaming up on a project to restore a Defense Supply Center Richmond warehouse built in 1942.

Name, rank, service and badges will be more identifiable on OCP

ARLINGTON, Va. (AFNS) — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the Air Force website — OCP rank insignia, badges, name, and service tapes will now feature a lighter, three-color background pattern, versus the current seven-color pattern, to increase readability and ease rank recognition.

Army Greens slated to reach all installations by mid-2021

WASHINGTON — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the Joint Base San Antonio website — Recruiters, drill sergeants, and initial entry trainees will be among the first to receive the new Army Green Service Uniform, as program officials look to distribute it to all installations by the middle of next fiscal year.

Environmental cleanup updates discussed at virtual quarterly public meeting

RICHMOND, VA — Community members virtually attended the Defense Logistics Agency Installation Management Richmond’s Environmental Cleanup Program quarterly Restoration Advisory Board meeting July 13. Due to COVID-19, this is the first time the RAB has met since Oct. 21.
