Construction Begins on DSCR’s New East Gate

In an effort to comply with current anti-terrorism standards, Defense Logistics Agency Installation Operations Richmond is embarking on a $6 million project to replace the East Gate. The new gate will be located near the former housing area adjacent to Jefferson Davis Highway on Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia. The work began this month and is expected to be completed by August 2019.

He met with the distribution center’s commanding officer Marine Col. Andre Harrell and key senior staff members to discuss various initiatives to improve and sustain warfighter materiel readiness.
