It’s okay to answer Question 21

May is Mental Health Awareness Month — a good time to bring up question 21 on the Questionnaire for National Security Positions, the SF-86 form one completes for every security clearance, whether initial or renewal.

Beale AFB modernizes electrical infrastructure

BEALE AIR FORCE BASE, Calif — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the Air Combat Command website — In order to keep Beale the intelligence spearhead of the Air Force, more than 200 power poles and their wiring are currently being replaced as part of an ongoing project to renovate and modernize Beale’s electrical infrastructure.

DLA’s director of logistics operations visits Norfolk distribution center

NORFOLK, Virginia — On May 2, Navy Rear Adm. Vincent Griffith, director of Defense Logistics Agency Logistics Operations, visited Norfolk, Virginia, for a tour of the pre-commissioned unit USS Ford, and of DLA Distribution’s operations.

Jim Lecollier, chief of the Subsistence individual rations branch, will be inducted into the Research & Development Associates for Military Food & Packaging Systems, Inc. Hall of Fame May 24. He's being honored for his unwavering support to the warfighter, and bringing industry and government together.

Aviation Army team staffs DLA exhibit at Nashville Conference

Richmond, Va. — Representatives from Defense Logistics Agency Aviation’s Army Customer Facing Division staffed the DLA Exhibit at the annual Army Aviation Mission Solutions Summit, April 26-28 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Spc. Jeffrey Nichols of the 381st Engineer Company, 926th Engineer Battalion, 926th Engineer Brigade, United States Army Reserves, bulldozes rock for a road on the Non-Standard Live-Fire Range at Joint National Training Center, Cincu, Romania, as part of Resolute Castle 17. Resolute Castle 17 is an exercise strengthening the NATO alliance and enhancing its capacity for joint training and response to threats within the region.

National Guard engineers make their own path in Romania

CINCU, Romania — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the National Guard website — Rainy weather in early May is just another obstacle to overcome for the Soldiers of Resolute Castle 2017, an engineering exercise underway in Romania and Poland. When rain turned their roads to a slick muck, endangering the trucks hauling rock for the tank trails, the engineers built a new road to continue work and prevent future delays.
