Herndon takes command of DLA CENTCOM & SOCOM in ceremony

Defense Logistics Agency Central Command and Special Operations Command bade farewell to Army Col. Derrin Williams during a July 7 change-of-command ceremony at CENTCOM headquarters, MacDill Air Force Base, Florida.

Land and Maritime commander visits shipyard at Puget Sound

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime Commander Navy Rear Adm. Michelle Skubic visited DLA Maritime at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard July 10. Skubic was at the Bremerton, Wash. facility to address the staff and recognize them for their outstanding contributions to Warfighter support.

Military computers go to school

Irwin County, Georgia — Computers once used by the U.S. military are now in the hands of Georgia middle and high school students thanks to a program administered by DLA Disposition Services.

The DLA Land and Maritime video archieve library contains streaming videos of Building 20 Auditorium events for associates based upon the event month. The GCDS playback links DLA CAC enabled.
