NEW CUMBERLAND, Pennsylvania — Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Susquehanna’s, Shipment Planning Team has been awarded the Team of the Quarter award for outstanding customer support and stewardship of resources.

DLA Troop Support Commander Army Brig. Gen. Charles Hamilton presents Evan Eisenberg with a Commander’s Coin and congratulations letter March 31, 2016 for earning the DLA Acquisition Professional Supporting Small Business award. Eisenberg was selected for the award for planning and awarding two contracts for the Navy Working Uniform to small businesses in fiscal 2015.

Many DLA employees might refer to their workdays as “running around the whole day,” but Army Lt. Col. Jamie Miller, a DLA senior operations research analyst, literally ran from sunrise to sunset in a recent 50-mile endurance run.
