HQC employees celebrate Navy’s 240th birthday

FORT BELVOIR, Virginia — The U.S. Navy is where it matters, when it matters, the director of logistics for the Joint Chiefs of Staff said during a celebration of the service’s 240th birthday at the McNamara Headquarters Complex Oct. 13.

Anniston distribution center supports Operation Inherent Resolve

ANNISTON, Alabama — Over the last several months, Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Anniston, Ala., has been doing its part to support Operation Inherent Resolve – the military operation against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), by supporting Foreign Military Sales requests for United States allied forces.

DLA Distribution celebrates Navy’s 240th birthday

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pennsylvania — Defense Logistics Agency Distribution employees and leadership gathered to wish a collective “Happy Birthday” to the Navy Oct. 13, in honor of the service’s 240th anniversary.

Subsistence provides food, water to Fort Jackson after historic South Carolina flooding

PHILADELPHIA — Following historic floods there during the last week, meals and water have arrived at Fort Jackson, South Carolina thanks in part to DLA Troop Support’s Subsistence supply chain.

Distribution’s Stoff retires after 24 years in the U.S. Air Force

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pennsylvania — On Thursday, Oct. 8, surrounded by friends, coworkers and Defense Logistics Agency Distribution leadership, Air Force Col. Karen D. Stoff, retired after 24 years of active duty with the U.S. Air Force.

Land and Maritime's POW/MIA ceremony honors service members, family sacrifices
