Aviation Leader Commentary: One team, one victory

Richmond, Va. — Why do we do what we do? Obviously supporting our families and preparing for our future and retirement are motivations for many of us. I have two daughters in college, so I know how important that paycheck is. But that is not why I work at the Defense Logistics Agency.

He is competing as a member of the Puerto Rican National Olympic Team at this summer’s Olympic games in Rio de Janeiro in honor of his maternal grandfather who born in Puerto Rico and passed away two years ago. Hodgson works for Defense Logistics Agency Aviation Supplier Operation’s Bearings Division and one of his tasks in his job as product specialist is to review potential bearing vendors.

DLA Director holds town hall in Richmond

RICHMOND, Virginia — Defense Logistics Agency Director Air Force Lt. Gen. Andy Busch returned to Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia, to update employees on topics ranging from warfighter support to culture survey results during a July 29 town hall at the Lotts Conference Center.

Material handlers Danny Howard and Charles Gonzalez, Defense Logistics Agency Installation Support at Richmond, move a cabinet for delivery to an office at Defense Supply Center Richmond. Office moves, furniture delivery and cube construction are a few of the services provided by the Customer Support Division.

DLA jacks, masters of all trades help DLA Aviation, tenants move

RICHMOND, Virginia — There are nearly 3,000 employees working on Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia, and all of them rely on a small group of divisions known as Defense Logistics Agency Installation Support at Richmond. The seven divisions of installation support provide more than 70 services that touch employees every day directly or indirectly.
