DLA Indo-Pacific: Team First … One Team … One DLA

Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam, Hawaii — As DLA Indo-Pacific hits the three-year mark since command and control was implemented, we have learned that combined DLA equities supporting one geographic combatant command requires a “Team First … One Team … One DLA, said Navy Capt. Kristin Acquavella, commander of Defense Logistics Agency Indo-Pacific.

DLA Indo-Pacific deputy commander recognized for strengthening local partnerships

Sometimes you help the warfighter, sometimes they help you

GUAM — U.S. Navy Mobile Construction Battalion personnel, known as “Seabees,” recently helped their local DLA disposal site save an estimated $11k in equipment transportation costs.

Guam — As a teenager, Richard Santos had to help his choking father expel a pork chop piece at dinner. As an adult, he rushed to provide assistance to a colleague suddenly struggling to breathe at their office in May.
