Richmond, Virginia — Defense Logistics Agency Aviation’s Navy Cmdr. Eric Lockett, executive officer and operations officer, Navy Customer Facing Division, Customer Operations Directorate, was selected in June 2017 to command DLA Energy Pacific at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Lockett’s current assignment is in Richmond, Virginia.

DLA Joint Reserves leader brings closure to families of sailors killed at Pearl Harbor

The chief of staff for the Defense Logistics Agency Joint Reserve Force has volunteered to serve on two honor details this year, returning to family members the remains of newly identified sailors killed in World War II.

Navy Culinary Specialists Serve Tasty Excellence

SILVERDALE, Wash. — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the Department of Defense website — In the Navy, the culinary specialist rate was established January 15, 2004. Prior to 1975 they were known as mess management specialists, commissary men and stewards.

Surrounded by team members, DLA Aviation Commander Air Force Brig. Gen. Allan Day signs the first DLA/Navy retail supply manual on March 24, 2017 at Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia. The manual will lead to improved warfighter support by standardizing policies and processes at DLA Aviation industrial support activities co-located at the Navy's three fleet readiness centers at Cherry Point, North Carolina; San Diego, California and Jacksonville, Florida.
