FORT BELVOIR, Va. — Thomas Daley, former deputy director of the subsistence supply chain at Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, is a member of the 2023 DLA Hall of Fame.

Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support was honored with the inaugural Federal Executive Board Member Spotlight Award at the FEB Excellence in Government Awards ceremony held May 4 in Philadelphia. DLA Troop Support Deputy Commander Kishayra J. Lambert accepted the award on behalf of the organization.

Small businesses are heartbeat of US economy, says DOD leader

RICHMOND, Va. — Recent data from the Defense Logistics Agency shows small business losses in the defense industrial base, there is positive news about the nation’s small businesses. Over the last two years, 10.5 million Americans applied to start small businesses and created 3.5 million jobs, which are record highs, said Farooq Mitha, director of the Defense Department’s Office of Small Business Programs.
